Character Description

Miyuki Suzumaki's slim frame and fragile figure means she isn't cut out to be an athlete, but she'd rather be in a library than a gym any day. She could be described as shy; there really isn't any other way to describe her. Quiet, perhaps. Bookish, definitely. It's rare to see Miyuki without a book pressed up against her nose, which often leads to her bumping into objects or people.

She's a bit of a dreamer, and when she's not buried in a book, she can often be found sitting, daydreaming, and generally quiet all by herself. She's loyal to her friends, and when the going gets tough, Miyuki is often the one to come up with a game plan.

Story

Miyuki grew up with her mother in a small, single bedroom apartment in southern Osaka. They never had a lot, but they always had just enough to get by. She has vague, fuzzy memories of a father figure, but he has been absent since Miyuki was a toddler.

Growing up, Miyuki always had a love of books, and often spent long hours at the library. When she was able, Miyuki got a part time job in the Osaka bay area doing small, menial chores. With the money she earned, she bought her own books, and soon her collection grew.

She was always a big believer in school, and was always at or near the top of her class. Her mother was a strong advocate of a good education, and had high hopes for Miyuki to do some good in the world. To this day, Miyuki stands by her rigorous studying regime, taking various extra curricular classes to keep busy.
