Character Description

Katsunaga stands proudly, unafraid to show off the multitude of scars that were both visible on his face and hidden on his body. Black hair, usually kept into a ponytail, sways with each sturdy stride where ever he goes. The most prominent scar is visible on the left side, cutting down from his brow and stopping just a few centimeters on his cheekbone. Sturdy and built like a truck, Katsunaga's physical stature is hard to miss, if not for his consistency in wearing red in all of his outfits.

Story

Katsunaga was born in Kosai, Shizuoka to two parents that could hardly be described as such. Their neglectful and abusive behavior had rubbed off on Katsunaga as he grew up. He learned that might makes right, picking on those that were weaker than him and avoiding those that were stronger than the growing boy. A history of violence followed Katsunaga as he aged, getting into fight with an older boy at the age of fourteen which resulted in the prominent scar over his left eye. His parents couldn't stand the trouble he brought with him, looking for an opportunity to send the troublesome youth elsewhere.

Their good fortune came in the form of his father's uncle, Sadatsugu Hida. Sadatsugu had no children of his own, but was far more kind with the mis-understood youth that was his nephew. After another incident at school, Katsunaga was shipped over to Osaka, to begin his new life as trouble-free as he could. But the years growing up under an abusive household had taken quite the toll, as Katsunaga struggled to adapt to a less hostile environment. His quirk, Solid air, was used to corner and trap those he deemed his victims for bullying. Sadatsugu was running out of ideas, until he turned towards martial arts to keep Katsunaga out of trouble.

For two years, Katsunaga and Sadatsugu began their journey as adoptive father and son, learning to hone the violent tendencies that came from years of picking fights and getting into fights. Though, there was still some issues that still needed to be worked out, Katsunaga was taking to the meditating and lessons. His hands became accustomed to holding a pen, gently laying them upon others, as well as letting out his frustration on training dummies instead of people. Over time, Katsunaga eventually applied for Osaka Nae Academy, hoping to do more than become just another villain due to his origins. With his uncle's blessing, Katsunaga set out to become another hero in Osaka Nae Academy.
